Milan 1920-Milan 2006. A graduate in Architecture from the Politecnico University of Milan, an architect and designer. Leading works: the Torre al Parco in the Via Revere and office building in the Corso Europa. A founding member of ADI (Association for Industrial Design) in 1956. Compasso d’oro winner for his Eclisse lamp (1967), for his Atollo lamp (1977) and for his Maralunga armchair (1979). Some of his design works are on display at MoMA (New York) and at other museums around the world.
