Giorgio Bocca

Cuneo 1920-Milan 2011. One of the greatest Italian journalists and writers in the second half of the twentieth century. A former fascist, he was an officer in the Alpini, then in the Partito d’Azione. A Resistance commander in the Giustizia e Libertà brigades. A leading contributor to Giorno of Milan, under editor-in-chief Pietra. Later one of the founders of La Repubblica under Eugenio Scalfari and a historic contributor to L’Espresso. Author of many historical and political books.
