Milan 1920-Milan 2009. A painter, son of Sen. Treccani (founder of the Istituto dell’Enciclopedia Italiana), joined avant-garde and anti-Fascist circles when still very young. Founder (aged 18) and director of Corrente, showing his first works in its studios. Involved in the Resistance, first solo exhibition in Milan in 1949. Engaged in civil issues for many years, promoted the Fondazione Corrente in the ’70s. Milan devoted a retrospective to him at the Palazzo Reale in 1989.
