Dario Del Corno

Milan 1933-Milan 2010. A Greek scholar of great renown and a student of Raffaele Cantarella, whom he succeeded as professor of Greek Literature at the University of Milan. A great translator of ancient Greek plays, editor of critical editions of works and editor-in-chief of Dioniso magazine (Institute of Ancient Drama). A populariser in the cultural pages of the Sole 24 ore and author of librettos (including Outis, set to music by Luciano Berio).
