Milan 1941-Milan 2005. Navigator, explorer, writer and television host. In the Falklands in 1978 his boat was hit by killer whales and sank. He and the journalist Mauro Mancini found refuge on a life raft. Rescued by a Greek merchant ship 74 days later, Mancini died of pneumonia, Fogar survived, but the experience marked him for life. In the ’80s he hosted Jonathan-Dimensione avventura, a precursor of environmentalist shows, on Retequattro. Published his adventures in the Corriere dei Ragazzi.
