Milan 1878-Milan 1959. A clergyman, doctor, psychologist and rector. Graduated in Medicine in Pavia. Military service in Milan. Ordained a priest in 1903 in the Franciscan convent in Rezzato. In 1909 he founded the Rivista di filosofia neoscolastica and in ’14 Vita e Pensiero magazine. Carried out scientific research in Italian and European studios, first in histology and then in experimental psychology. Worked as a doctor and a priest during the First World War. Founded the Università Cattolica, which opened in ’21, of which he was rector for many years. Member of the Consiglio superiore della Pubblica Istruzione.
