Adolfo Consolini

Costermano (Verona) 1917-Milan 1969. Discus-throw Olympian in London (1948) and three-time world record holder, Italian record holder for 17 years, winning 375 out of 453 athletic contests up to the end of the 1960s. Captain of the Italian national team at the Rome Olympics in 1960. Acted in Cronache di poveri amanti (by Carlo Lizzani, with Mastroianni and Lualdi).
